Privacy information

This notice describes the current YUAN application and its public editorial contact, [email protected]. Updated 20 October 2026.

Website features

The application has no registration, contact-submission form, birth-chart input, advertising code, payment service or external AI request. Images, application scripts and styles are served with the website; typography uses fonts available on your device. Our application code does not set cookies, save language preferences or use browser storage. Cloudflare Web Analytics is described separately below.

Audience and performance measurement

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand page views, visits, referring sites and loading performance. Cloudflare supplies a browser script and processes measurements as the hosting and analytics provider. This is separate from the calendar calculation, which still runs in your browser.

Cloudflare states that this analytics service does not use cookies, local storage or browser fingerprinting to identify visitors. Its current documentation says query strings are not logged by Web Analytics; this does not mean that hosting or security systems never process a requested URL. See Cloudflare Web Analytics and its current limitations.

We do not send email inquiry contents, birth information or visitor account details to this analytics service. Link campaign labels use generic internal identifiers. Measurements can be missing when a browser blocks the analytics script or omits a referral; we do not treat a visit count as a count of identified people.

Dates and copied links

The almanac calculates the selected date in your browser. The date is also written into the page URL so you can copy and revisit it. Anyone receiving the link can see that date. Requests for a URL, including its query string, may be processed by the hosting provider. The application does not treat the date as a birth date or attach it to an account.

Copy date link asks the browser to write the current date link to your clipboard after you click. It does not read your clipboard. If the browser refuses the write, you can copy the URL from the address bar.

Hosting

The public website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process IP addresses, requests and technical or security data as part of providing the service, and may apply its own security measures. Our description of application code does not mean the host makes no logs or never uses service cookies. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

AdSense application

The site includes a Google AdSense publisher verification meta tag and an ads.txt file for its application. These identify the intended publisher; by themselves they do not load Google's advertising script or display advertisements. There is currently no AdSense advertising script on the site. Before enabling ads, we will update the relevant disclosures and assess the consent choices required for the audiences we serve.

If you email us

Clicking an email link opens your email application; it does not automatically send anything. If you choose to send a message, the site owner receives your email address and the content you include through a Gmail mailbox. That information is used to respond to the inquiry or investigate the reported issue. Your email provider and Google also process the message under their own policies; see Google's privacy policy.

Do not send sensitive records or personal birth information. Use the public contact email to ask about a message you supplied or request correction or deletion. This website does not sell email inquiries or add their senders to a mailing list.

External sources and changes

Our reading links open third-party websites with their own policies. Their videos, ads and tracking scripts are not embedded here.

If advertising, subscriptions, forms, payments or a different analytics service are added, we will update this notice and assess any required choices or consent before enabling those features. This notice describes today's implementation; it is not a claim that every possible future feature has been reviewed.
